1. Peer-to-Peer Booking Platform
Momo operates strictly as a software facilitation layer designed to connect individuals seeking to host or attend private gatherings. We are not an event organizer, catering company, transportation service, or security firm. By participating in any event booked through Momo, you acknowledge that you are interacting directly with other users in a peer-to-peer capacity.
2. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Momo, its founders, employees, or affiliates be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
- Physical injury, illness, or death occurring at an event hosted by a user.
- Theft, destruction, or loss of personal property during an event.
- Financial loss resulting from peer-to-peer transactions executed off-platform (e.g., Venmo, PayPal, CashApp).
- Misrepresentation of an event's nature, legality, or safety by the Host.
3. Identity Verification & Trust
While Momo utilizes AI integrations to scan Government Issued IDs for age verification and identity confirmation, we do not perform comprehensive criminal background checks. You are solely responsible for exercising reasonable caution and verifying the identity and trustworthiness of any Host or Guest you interact with offline.
4. User Conduct & Moderation
Users must not utilize Momo to facilitate illegal activities, underage drinking, distribution of controlled substances, or promotion of violence. Momo retains the unilateral right to freeze, suspend, or permanently terminate any account flagged by our community reporting system without prior notice or refund.
